Family hire questions
Should I search for a people mover or minivan?
They describe the same general type of passenger vehicle. “People mover” is common Australian wording, while “minivan” is also widely understood. Seat count is the clearest way to compare your options.
Will every passenger still have luggage space?
Not necessarily. Luggage room changes when every seat is occupied, and the displayed bag count is only an approximate guide for medium bags. Tell us your passenger count and bag sizes before booking so we can help you check the fit.
Are child seats available?
Child seats are offered as optional Turo Extras on selected vehicles, subject to availability and the price shown at checkout. Tell us the child’s age before booking so we can help you check the suitable option.
